I'm sorry it's still missing! Where could he have lost it? Does he remember the last time he had it?

W00T! W00T!! W00T!!!

:hiya: :yay: :hiya: Hello my darlings, my loves, my hamburgers! I've missed you all terribly. Life got very complicated there in late August, and reached critical mass in mid-September... lack of home 'puter access has been awful, but the least onerous of my recent problems. I won't bore you with the details; suffice it to say that we are safe and happy in our new home, some miles from the Stepford community we had been trying to fit into without success. Don't think I haven't been thinking about you all, though-- wishing you a very late but spectacularly blessed Mabon/Ostara (and thinking a lot lately about balance in my life, and the lack thereof...).

Anyway... where was I? Oh, yes-- blithering. I tend to do that. I see my personal upheaval ccoincided with some radical changes here too. <looks around dubiously> To be honest, I'm not sure I like the look.. I miss my lovely calm green surroundings. But I suppose one can get used to anything...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the birthday greetings! I confess, I was feeling a bit low in the days leading up to it. Oak fnally made good on a twelve-year-old promise to take me to Maine for the fall colours-- lovely indeed, but the post-trip letdown was surprising at least. Now I've got my 'puter back-- it's still a bit of a Rube Goldberg; I'm sitting on my son's bedroom floor with the keyboard on his bed; this is the only functional phone jack in the place-- but I've found my way back to my favourite pub, and myself in dire need of a W00T and a drink! :guinness:

 :cloud9:  :cloud9:

It went missing somewhere between laying Aerin in his bed and climbing over the neighbours fence to get our lovely cat back. It could be in his backyard but we hope to find it in our house. It just slipped of his finger. :gloomy:

BUT

I had my first day at work today! I walked out our frontdoor crying this morning. Aerin looked at me with a look in his eyes saying: what are you doing with your jacket on so early this morning and why is daddy home?
The coffee from the coffeemachine is HORRIBLE, I'll get acces to the computernetwork tomorrow, I'll get my cellphone tomorrow. I met one client today, two tomorrow and one next monday. I have a lot of reading to do this evening so I'll make myself a huge mug of hot chocolate and dive on the couch.

Yep! We're getting close!

I think, after looking at the post counts, there are 12 more after this post... It'll be a race to the finish! :)

Hi, Twyrch --

Thank you for offering to help me. As I am rather embarassed about my ineptitude, maybe we can go to pm?

It will be tomorrow, however. I had to write an obituary tonight for Jaime and I am spent.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wait -- I am having some weird experience. I keep writing this note to Twyrch, -- over and over -- and in ends up in the wrong thread.... ??????????

Big W00000000000000000000000000000000000000000t from Scotland. hey - what happened, I had thought you had reached the 1000 while I was off? But it seems you have all been tooo busy looking for jobs....

Congratulations on the new Jobs, Twyrch, Mey, Ty :yay: :yay: :yay:

It is nice to see there are some good things out there as well, after all the desasters/

Ghostie - I feel for you :where:

Been there myself with my Ex, and yes, it can scar you.... But on the bright side - my life is now so much better then before, so there is light at the end of the tunnel, even if it does not feel like it right now.

I had a great time the last two weeks, even though driving to Germany and back took almost 4 days... Not going to do that again anytime soon, but the car has to visit Germany every two years. And it was nice to see family and friends again. But it also feels nice to be back in beautiful and sunny (Yes, believe it!!!) Scotland :yay: :yay:

Hi there,

I have spoken with a few of you on other topics over the last few weeks.

I was just wondering if anyone is allowed to join the Rowdy Bunch? Have you put a block on new members until you reach your 1000th post?

I mean, wouldn't it be awful if some newbie like me pipped you to the post and stole the 1000th post with a massive big WOOT! (I would not do that by the way, it wouldn't be fair)

Here's hoping I can join in too (on the strict understanding that I don't steal the prize for 1000th post)

You guys seem to have so much fun (most of the time) I wanna play!

Aylyn,

Thanks for the w00t! I'm still waiting to get a confirmation on that new job... it's driving me insane because I have to be patient and anyone who knows me, knows I'm about a patient as a monkey on crack sometimes. :-)

Severina, of course you can join! The more, the merrier.

You can even take the 1000th post, if you want to. Everyone is welcome.

So have yourself a nice hot cup of w00t and join in the fray! :yay:
