Aidan Doyle (Bardic Wisdom)

Postby TheGoldenSerpent » 17 Oct 2007, 16:22

Aidan died this morning (17th October 2007) at Weston-super-Mare Hospital. His son was with him when he died and apparently his passage was 'very peaceful'. Two members of his Grove attended the hospital but were too late to be with him.

I have just lit a candle for Aidan and raised a glass to him. May he journey well.

If anyone here knows his family, please pass on my sincere condolences. I never met Aidan in person, but I have had some wonderful chats online with him, and would appreciate it if anyone knows if there is yet anywhere to send any donations in his memory.

Aidan, may you be at peace. Blessed Be

Right up to the last, he had a smile and a joke for us.  It took such valuable breath to do it.

Aidan I will never forget you my friend

See you soon

Aidan was a wonderful person, and his passing will leave it's mark. He was also courageous and knew that his end was close and wanted to prepare for it as best he could.

May his Spirit find peace within the oceans, upon the breeze and through the trees.

Aidan, I had the pleasure of meeting you in Glastonbury two years ago and laughing with you over a few pints in the George and Pilgrim. This is how I will always remember you my friend, as the beautiful butterfly emerging from the cauldron of rebirth, the highlight of the ceremony for me. I am glad that I had the chance to meet you.
