Ghostie went blue as a consequence of certain related discussions in the Reading Room and Discuss Druidry. I don't want to advertise it, but if you go looking you will surely find it.

VIZ is a British comic. I think it is still going, but if it is, it is way past it's heyday. They used to have a bogus letters page which was so funny [My husband mistook Paraquat for milk the other day while making our tea. We were both sick as dogs, but we soon saw the fungicide.] and a Useful Tips section with all sorts of ridiculous suggestions like the one above from Wintersundog.

And these:

Yeah, I read a few of those and decided to stay out of the discussion - it would only have put oil in the fire, as I cannot stand fascism either. Comes from being German, I guess.... However, I was unaware that it had changed Ghosties Skin Colour to blue, and I must admit I hate the smurfs - annoying little critters that are best stepped on...

Thanks for the VIZ update, it definitely IS a cultural gap. But I liked the quotes, even though it took me a while to understand them.
