I've been visiting for a little over a month and I decided it was time to finally introduce myself. I live in the state of Maine in the USA, I'm 47 years old and I'm new to the Druid path. I'm really only just in the exploratory stages, but I've already discovered that many of the basic principles of Druidry resonate with my own core beliefs about life, the universe and everything. About 10 years ago I read Philip Carr-Gomm's The Druid Way, found it quite moving and thought-provoking, but at that time I don't think I was ready to explore Druidry yet. Recently, however, circumstances in my life have led me back in this direction. I hope to take the courses at some point in the future when my somewhat pinched finances allow for it, but for now I'm learning everything I can by other means.

I'm 36 and I've recently started to feel that druidry might be a path for me. I enjoy walks in the woods, reading, sometimes writing, music. For some reason I've always been interested in Celtic things. I'm here to meet people who are also interested in similar things and to learn more about what modern druidry can be.

Hello all from the Canadian Foothills!

Though I’m pretty new to these boards and OBOD in general I recently discovered that I’ve been following the path of Druidry my whole life, I just didn’t know what it was called. From the time I took out a giant book on the Celts from the library (I was about 13 I think), to when I finally got up the courage to first contact a local Druid (that was 2003) and meet with her (2004), then finally after years of self study joining organized groups at Samhain 2007.

These days I’m working through the Bardic grade as best I can but its going slower then I had hoped. Someday though I’ll get there. IN the mean time I hope to troll these boards often !

Hi all, I'm Josh And I'm 15.

I currently reside in Daytona Bch. Florida and found your website today while aimlessly browsing the internet in my 1st block class.
I've traveled from religion to religion trying to find something that I fit into, and I really enjoy what i've found here for the most part.
I'm not really religious but I believe that nature created everything we see around us. So in a way, I view nature as my god. I've been playing bass for 4 years or so now and guitar since December. I thoroughly enjoy cannabis, I don't see it as way to just get high, but rather a way of opening up my mind to new possibilities and ideas.

It's very nice to meet you all and I look forward to becoming a part of your community.
