Havn't been round for a while, what happened to all the little eistedfodd icons by people's names? Just realized it's gone west!

When board was recently upgraded the ability to have the little harps sadly was gone. I think this version only allows so many tags by peoples names (like OBOD Bard / Moderator etc) so the harps sadly went.
Some participants and winners have decided then to put the harps in their signature, along with the eisteddfod for which they won the harp from. For example golden harp SB means they were a winner of the samhain/beltane eisteddfod.

Hope that helps.

Yes, with the upgrade of the board we had to let go of the original harps. However we did want to give people a token to show for their efforts. So in the end we chose for:

-----------------------------------------
HARPS: Each Eisteddfod Winner will receive a Golden Harp with the date and competition marked on it to put in their signatures. These Golden Harps may be kept as long as the winner likes, adding new harps for each competition, but only one harp per competition regardless of the number of categories entered or won (limited by standard signature rules for number of lines and graphics).

Each Entrant will receive a Silver Harp, valid only until the call for submissions goes out for the next Eisteddfod. To keep your silver harp, you must continue to enter each successive Eisteddfod. If you don't remove your harp at the beginning of the competition, it will magically disappear (or get tarnished and rusty).
-----------------------------------------

You may have noticed the absence of the silver harps for the last Fod.........(we're working on it). In the mean time you can still see a few rusting ones here and there.

Is that the red stuff on my little silver harp??? I was wondering about this, but I liked it :-)

Maybe I misunderstood the rules, but I DID participate in the last Eistedfodd, which is why I thought I could keep my harp untarnished until Beltaine....

We had a glitch, and we're working on it. Any entrants should be receiving new Silver Harps for this season shortly.
The silver harps from last season are rusting, so they should be removed and the new silver harp should be inserted instead. If someone doesn't get the instructions for the new silver harp by this weekend, please PM me.

Thanks for your patience.

Jingle
