Siiigh I know its not a HUGE deal but because of my mother it is an issue today...Its my birthday, in fact my 40th...and I know that people(i.e my mother) say why broadcast the fact? But it is, Im quite happy Im 40 but my birthday isn't showing up at the bottom of the page...I know I am a sad muppet but you know(do I need to mention my mother again?)
I did check my settings and all is fine there but it is still not showing up....Boooooohooooooo :-(
Did I happen to mention that I have issues with my mother? :spank:

Silver Owl,
Did you check the boxes in the 'User Control Panel'?
You can go to 'Edit Profile'. There you can check the boxes at
- 'Display age' (Determines if your age is publicly viewable.)
- 'Display Birthday Congrats' (Determines if your username will appear on the congratulations list when it is your birthday.)

Hi, Silver Owl,

I just had a look at your profile and it was set not to display your age or congratulations, so I changed it to allow both. But unfortunately, it did not immediately display the congrats at the bottom of the page—my guess is that the board software picks out the day's birthdays at midnight GMT, and if you're not set to display at that time, it won't do it retroactively. But it should work next year!
