I think it's happened to all of us at one time or another—and usually after we've just spent an inordinate amount of time composing something and finally had it exactly right. I blame it on server gremlins, or perhaps the board is haunted by a particularly mischevious entity with an impeccable sense of timing. Regardless, as Badger Bob says, it's always a good idea to compose a lengthy post elsewhere and then copy it to the board when you have it the way you want it.
