Go serenarian and be rejuvinated,
spend time with the trees until your soul is sated
return in due time
I've no more to say, so here I end my rhyme...
I feel so light hearted if I went outside I'd drift awayImageImage

Tonight to sleep, too soon to wake
And after slumber, morning's break
I'll shake the winter's freezing sorrow
And breathe in spring upon the morrow.

So rambling may I yet depart
With spring's fresh kiss within my heart
and leave behind the winter's death
To yawn and wake in summer's breath

good night to you my rhyming friends
with this long night the winter ends.
And when I wake, refreshed I'll be
To dance on clouds eternally.
Light,

Jingle

Here is my short Bardic introduction in poetic form. It is also my first poem.

There is so much for me to say
And here comes the special day
For me to find the secret Source
Within my heart and get it's force

Since early years I've been taught
The certain way to seek the Lord
Religious dogmas poisoned me
And only now I feel free

I spread my wings and I will fly
To see the world's another side
Where ancient magic does still live
Which is the source for my belief

Small creature's voice I hear calls
From hidden place beyond the walls
He calls to me from forest green
And gently tells me: "Friend, come in"

Thank you,

Oh bliss, oh bliss, a bard arrives
And our poetic chat revives
I thought they'd gone, hidden from view,
But now they're back to chat anew

I too did seek to praise my Lord
I tried, for years, but then got bored
Knew it was right, but no feedback
What was wrong?, or what did I lack?

Then, when pointed to Druidry,
By a friend, who could really see
Saw that it was right all along
I'd met God, but not heard His Song

All the dogmas had covered me
I could not hear and could not see
And all the time there was my God
Completely covered by this fog

But then I walked in pastures new
I smelt the roses, my sight grew
And all around me was my God
In ev'ry place wherein I trod

So when I reach my final goal
Although 'twas Jesus saved my soul
I did not meet him in a church
But in a wood of Oak and Birch

O, please hear me
Day after day i am at work
My dear and boring work
So my soul dry out
And i waste away in the gutter

O, bless me for i am at work
So here i stand before they
Dry out and wasted away
Smell like a hellhound off the gutter

There is the new morning
So i can reach for a new little bit of piece of the awen
O, bless me father because i have to go to work

Godin Moeder...

U Grote Moeder U vult mijn leven
Zonder U mijn Godin,
zou ik het leven niet aankunnen
Godin mijn grote Moeder ik wil u laten weten.
Ik ben u dankbaar
Voor Uw plaats in mijn leven
Moeder laat die plaats nooit leeg achter
Godin blijf bij me

Now the wheel is turned again
and is waning

A cool breeze met I today
It said
The heat has settled
Sun's warm hands blessing
Hailing to me a jolly goodbye
Soon to be met by colours bright

So worry not
The year will falter
But the Earth will not
The sun will fail
But the stars and the moon
Will give you their blessings

A time of meditation
A meditation of peace
And in the silence of season
The Great Ones whisper

And so I end my poem
In humility before the Order's eyes
For it is my first poem ever posted

A fine poem, this do I swear,
Oh virgin spirit of the air

I do my best to rhyme in verse
But sometimes it can be a curse

I enter stuff in Eisteddfod
But I come last and feel a clod

Poems, like this, that seem to rhyme
Are 'liked' but do not rank as 'Prime'

Times change and I must learn new things
To give my poems voice and wings

So I shall try and see what flows
What rhymes with 'poetry'?...

RedKite, I do enjoy your verse
but see my rhyming getting worse.
It seems I don't have much to say
these days I'm only in the way.

But rhyming in the Eisteddfod
Has once or twice been given nod.
Our own dear Fox as I recall
Made best a scheme to better all.

And so I do feel quite inept
amongst those others quite adept
at poetry and scansion true
Like those before - like Fox and you.

And by the way, I found it witty
to use an icon in your ditty
Mouseover that and you will see.
Red's perfect rhyme for poetry.

And now my luncheon hour is over
I'd rather sit in fragrant clover
But here I must get on my way
and do the things for which they pay.

The sun is rising o'er the wood
A solitary strand of light
Slips through the leaves
And dances, sparkling on the dew.
Rejoice! Another day of life!
Of bees and birds and munching deer,
Of endless possibility.

The sun is rising in the sky
O'er saplings stretching branch and root,
O'er rich, black loam and forest deep.
The day is new and fresh and sweet;
All nature joins in morning song,
And I cannot contain my joy!
Another day of life!

The Lady of the Woods is near,
to guide us through the falling year,
Where Autumn's colours, we enfold
to hear a robin, sing with his soul

Gladly do i run through forests,
to meet with creatures and wood spirits,
they tell me of knowledge far,
the springs that freeze, in coldest winter
but i rejoice that here i've found,
An Autumn song, i see all around
kind bards who've come to listen to me,
as i spell this song in poetry.

Why is it called poetic conversations? people just write a poem about their day.
they never reply to what other people before them say.
either way, just to follow suit,
to everyone that reads this-I salute.
Now, for my as of late's life story
there is no more negative in me
I have been happier than I've ever been
Things are going well, I am light hearted
So much more than when I started
I feel bliss down to my soul
and I think I've finally reached one of my big goals
I smile so much, so often
I want to feel what I do again

- hope all of you are well
Life can be tough, but we'll pull through
So here's some encouraging words...
Know that I am right along beside you
struggling through too. :)
I feel so light hearted if I went outside I'd drift awayImageImage

The conversation as it goes
should be more poetry than prose

At the risk of sounding sappy,
I am glad that you are happy.

But what, pray tell, has caused the bliss
that's drowning you in happiness?

If conversation's what you seek,
Then answer back within a week.

But if no answers do appear
then daily poetry's what we'll hear.

Dialogue requires two.
So let's converse - me and you

And any readers who have time
come join our conversation rhyme!
Light,

Jingle

It's nice to hear that someone's on a high
I'm really glad that you are feeling good
Care to enlighten us a little further
What's brought on this feel-good-hood?

Well...I hope this was withing a week...I can't remember.
one reason I am so happy is because my mom wants to move, and I'm going with her.
It'll hopefully be by the beach or a national forest, so It'll be an amazing experience
And I started going out with this guy after about six months of waiting, I've been smiling ever since.

I see nothing wrong with prose, but that's just me
you do have a good point that conversations are for two, you see
and that is why I was like "whaaat?" where's the exchange part?!
I wasn't really sure how to start a conversation, but I guess we've got a good start.

I actually think it's a little judgmental to say it should be poetry not prose
because each person has a writing style of their own
you never know...
and I'm not really sure how to get what I want across without it being confusing
It's hard to say what you mean in a pretty way...=/

so what's new with everyone?
looks like my writers block has already begun...
sorry bout the...inadequacy of the um...reply...

Prose in fine for most times
But here the purpose is the rhymes
or poetic conversation
To stretch the imagination.

Your move with mom does seem quite grand
And hopefully you'll make your stand
of trees in some beautiful place
To keep the smile upon your face

And about your newfound beau,
I hope things stay happy as you go
I sensed that's what it may be
As on you walk, both you and he.

As for me I am alone
here on a business trip far from home.
But in the morning I'll depart
To get back to the land of my heart

And for that I'll say goodnight
Waxing moon is well in sight
and may she shine upon your head
And softly send you to your bed.

Sweet dreams.
Light,

Jingle

I wait for the waxing moon to grow to it's fullest
those are my favorite nights, where I go outside and that is where I write my best
I love the light, how it's silver and rejuvinating
The moon is most of the time my inspiration to sing
but when I sing those songs to the moon, I go to write it down and forget my words
people tell me I should get a tape recorder..but I'd go through too many tapes

I think it'd be partially fulfilling my dream to live by a forest
I think it's where animals would be most populous
and I love animals
so I think that's where I'd like to go

It's good you are going back home soon
they say distance makes the heart grow fonder
so maybe when you get back it'll make everything more..special than it normally is

every year when I return to Maryland I look at all the moss on the trees and the plants around
and I realize how much I'd missed it while on the other side of the country, looking at the dusty ground.

I feel so light hearted if I went outside I'd drift awayImageImage

Poetry can take many forms
On paper, screen or in our lives
Blank verse or formal
Strict or free
Or a mix of all
Flitting like a bee from flower to flower

So you sing to the moon, like a wolf howling?
She brings it out in us
Drawn like dew to our lips

Moving house can be such a wrench
I hope reality fits your dream's desire
And Jingle, back in your garden on your bench
Gazing into your druid's fire
Here's hoping the sacred stays with you in your life
Even in the coference hall and hotel
Where amongst the shuffling papers and chat
You may hear a distant tinkling druid's bell ...

Me, I'm biding my time,
Trying to finish my book
I know how it will end
It's just getting there!
Up at six these days
To try and fit in all the work
But wasting evenings in front of the box
When I know there are deeper things to seek
But work now calls and with it bleak distraction
Thank goddess for druidical internet interaction!

It's been a little while I know,
From Full to Dark Moon since.
Moon wanes, and so does my mood
And as it darkens
And as the Equinox passes
I come to the quiet time.
That 20 past the hour time.
That time when you hear an uncomfortable silence
And you look at the clock
And it's always 20 after.

But as the dark moon passes,
The moon begins to wax
And we head back toward the silvery shiny white brightness
The new moon brings change
And hope.
Are you feeling it yet?
Are you feeling the hope?
Are you feeling the change?

And Autumn... Here in the East.
The leaves go out in a blaze of glory
And then they fall and die.
Do they fall and die where you live?
They're nourishing the land
They're protecting the roots from the upcoming winter
They're bringing change.
Are you feeling it yet?
Are you feeling the nourishment?
Are you feeling the change?

In the days of my youth,
October brought fires
Bright sunny southern california fires
And the Santa Ana winds
That flamed the fires
And then the forests died.
But the pines in that forest
Release their seeds
Only in the heat of the fire.
They bring new seedlings
And hope.
Are you feeling it yet?
Are you feeling the burning fires?
Are you feeling the change?

What is going on in your life?
Light,

Jingle

walking and watching the world as it whirls
sighing and swirling the smoke as it curls
slipping and sliding in shower with soap
hurting and hating at having false hope

dancing and drinking the Dragonfly dry
weeping and wailing and waving goodbye
laughing and leaving and loving him so
belligerent; bawdy, believing he'll know

forgetting, forgiveness and flashing a smile
mad loving and missing him all of the while
waiting and watching the wings that descend
for hugging and healing; return to me, friend.
