Hello Rowdies-- I'm so sorry I haven't been around much lately to W00T with you all-- I'm only popping in for a moment to ask/plead/beg/importune you all for some prayers and positive energy. My life seems headed more and more toward utter chaos, and I'm at the end of my rope. I need some love and light, if anyone can spare some... ?

Thank you all.

I found you in the 3rd one, but not the others. Did you used to have lighter hair worn in a pony-tail?

The band in #3 was definitely into it!

Wow, you guys get to have all the fun. <pout> Nothin' Druid-like going on here in South Texas... <mope>

Well, at least there is You Tube so one can "be there" vicariously! :hiya:

It wasn't necessarily Druid-like, hehe.
We were there alongside the Coven Imladris and the Nine Worlds (Asatru). And there are many different kinds of Pagans represented in the Roaming Ravens, which is what makes it so great to be a part of it.

The drum-circle was (part of) a ritual to connect with Mother Earth, regardless if you were a Druid, Astruar, Witch, atheist, or whatever.
The drummers sought the beating of the Earth's heart, which was not the same for every drummer, but sounded surprisingly well. The flute ( Ennys ), didgeridoos, sticks and dancers somehow just all came together and completed the whole thing...
It's hard to explain... but that Circle was THE highpoint of the festival for me and a lot of others.
The energy created by Pagans from all sorts of Paths was amazing... and we're going to try and do it again next Sunday!

I got to do some drumming with a large group of pagans when I lived in Santa Fe. There is nothing quite like it! :boggle: It's almost as if a separate entity is created by the drums and instruments. People just tune into a higher groove. Amazing experience! Hope y'all can pull off a gathering this week-end...

For me, too, the drumcircle was the greatest thing of this great festival called Castlefest...It was like we were in another world temporarily, with the drums and the sticks and the dancers...Like it lasted a very long time and was over in a minute at the same time. Weird but wonderful

And indeed, the Ravens do not consist of druids alone. But there are quite a lot of them!

Another World :cloud9:

That would be so much better than this world....

I am going to move into another rented accommodation on Saturday, with all the chaos this entails, as the house I wanted to buy has been found unsuitable 10 days before I was going to move in :gloomy: To top matters off, I have gotten a toothache yesterday, so in between trying to sort the move, resolve the buying issues, getting phone, gas, electricity I have to go to the dentist. And no, it is not going to be a small matter - it has been looming on the horizon for a while, and the dentist will have a field day. Probably gets him a new Mercedes...

What I would not give for a little peace and quiet....
