Thanks Michael,

it does help, and I will probably have WillowHawk there right next to me - we both need lots of healing energy...

And while we are in the Bahamas - how about some Planter's Punch or something suitable tropical??? Cheers to everybody, may the world get better...

What - nobody here wants to share some Long Island Ice Tea with me??? Hey, this way, I am getting drunk all by myself, and that is not funny....

Anyway, I am off on holiday now, not the Bahamas, but Sunny Dundee, or Sundee, as the locals call it. Today it actually honours its name, so hopefully, it will go on to do so, with the exception of next Thursday probably, when we are having a barbecue. So wish me luck, I want to show my parents how beautiful Scotland is and hope it will show itself in all its glory.

See you in 2 weeks, and a

in the meantime.

And Willowhawk:

   for you, mat the world get better for both of us....

Second:
Watching the youtube movie of the drumcircle on Castlefest made me cry. Next year I'll be there!!!

Third:
I can't stay behind the computer too long because I suffer horrible headaches. No painkiller does what it promisses. I'll see our docotr tomorrow. I have the feeling that my eyes pop out of my head and while heaving a headache like this I see things that I know are not there. I'm terrible scared. I never have headaches and this wakes me up in the middel of the night.

Fourth:
Love and Light to all who need it!!!! :gulp:

Yes, good luck, Mey and let us know what you find out. In the words of a famous baseball player over here in the US: "They X-rayed my head but they didn't find anything." :-) In your case, I know they'll find a brain, and I hope they find whatever is ailing you. It is misery to have chronic head pain and not know what is causing it.

Darling li'l kitty! Toooo cute.... :cloud9:

Doc prescribed 8 painkillers a day and two more not getting sick of them. If it won't get better in a week I just have to call and I will be sent to a headache-specialist in the hospital.
It's much like migraine but this last for two weeks now and it's not funny anymore.

Mey -- I hope those medications help you. Headaches are so misunderstood and under-diagnosed. Thanks for letting us know what's happening.

A big w00000000000000000000000000000000t bouquet for you!

Mey, he's sooo cute!! We just got a kitten last month-- if I can ever get a pic, I'll post one. Her name is Ruby-- she's a dollbaby. :)

Hey, anyone on Facebook? I found (and tagged!) our beloved Twyrch-- so if there are more of you on there, I want to know about it! Come on... you'll get to see my real name... :o

Young man.. I resent that! And as a proper gentleman ( cough cough... ) I guarantee you... if you pop on over to Scotland and I am in the UK ( which may just happen... I could be moving there... ) I shall challenge you to a duel!

Now... since I do not own a pair of rapiers... we shall just have to make do with what arms are available... I hope you bring your pocket-knife, then I'll bring my Viking Warsword! ( I'm older... gimme a chance here... )

@Mey... I sent you an invitation to the Roaming Ravens. :D Organising drum-circels is becoming a recurring thing.. We had one in Amsterdam last weekend (which I missed as my car is buggered...) and will be having one in Rilland in November (actually.. we'll be having TWO probably ). There's quite a few Ravens in Brabant which are 'Geiten-meppers' so who knows... we might just have to organise something in your neighbourhood :-)

Oh, I *do* hope the duel is going to be televised along with the rest of the Olympics! Y'all could duel with chop sticks, maybe?

Willhawk -- I tried to do Facebook once, and I was so inept that I couldn't do anything with it. I think it must be designed for younger folk. :old:

Twig don't feel bad. It took me two weks to get one when I wanted to get it. slow process it is. Well ghostie I plan to if all goes well to go to Scotland the summer of 2009. That gives U a year to practice roughly. I will bring a tomahawk. I live in Michigan and I could probably dig one up. so it will be fun. WOOOOTTTT!!!!!!1

Ooooh -- a tomahawk & a Viking war sword. :yikes: What a bloody mess. Y'all can't use derringers? So much tidier.

Hmmm..

Well.. if he's bringing a Tomahawk and is thus increasing his range... it would only be logical, being an an aplicant for the English Warbow Society, that I also bring that ancient weapon of English Medieval forces...

And don't 'worry' I can't get to ranges as 250yds and upward just yet :-) (but I can't give any guanrantees for the Summer of 2009 :hiya: ).

So, there you are, Ghostie. You always wanted to be a bow-guy, and here's your chance to show off your wares *and* your skills in the duel.

I am thinking this duel should take place virtually, out in front of the Pub so that we can all be observers. Gentlemen, count off your paces!

Hahaha..

Nice guess Twig, but alas.. quite incorrect...
That Indian bow is what's known as a "girlie-bow" compared to the real thing
That thing is effective at close range and has little impact... (although some cowboys might disagree... )

I'm talking about THIS thing...

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_q ... &oq=warbow

These are 100 lbs (drawforce) monsters.. I already own one.. but mine draws 110 lbs at 32".
Those things shoot well over 200 yards and then still pack an awesome punch... HAHAHA.. Compared to most modern bows and that Indian thingie.. Warbows throw out treetrunks... :yay:

Start running people....
