Greetings all

I am Sam. I am just 18 years old and I live in a small town in the south of Lancashire, UK (or maybe more commonly known as the outskirts of Greater Manchester). I've had a great interest in Druidry for some years now. I feel a great connection with nature and the celebration of the earths seasonal cycles. I also love the ancient history, the myths and the legends of these isles and western Europe. I also love to visit pre-Christian sites. My favourite being the Rudston Monolith in East Yorkshire.

Druidry to me is something I'd love to learn more about.

It would be great to converse with lots of you in future and discuss

Hello everyone,

I figured it was my turn for an introduction. I'm 37 and currently live In Los Angeles CA, formally from Chicago IL. I work in Film and Television. I was raised Catholic and went to a Catholic grade school and high school, and thanks to that I have been pagan since I graduated. In fact I almost didn't graduate because of my beliefs. Anyways, in the early 90's I wasn't all that spiritual until I found a pagan book store called Aurum Solis suddenly I felt like I had discovered a part of myself that had been hidden from me. After reading many books and having long conversations with the owners I found that my path was druidry. I even almost joined the Order back then but life had taken a turn and I drifted away from my studies. Now many years later I have again found the inspiration to seek that that was lost.

So here I am a member of OBOD and a proud Druid.

I look forward to chatting with all of you and hope to share a real hearthfire you all someday.

I'm 41 and am married with four children. I am returning to Druidry after a holiday of ... well lets just say a long time. I was studying the Ovate grade and I guess I must have walked into a tree or something. I'm back and currently re-reading the Bardic grade.

My wife and I recently joined an OBOD seed group fifty miles to the South West of us, a wonderful group of Druids, who have welcomed us with open arms. We are quite eager to learn and live the Druid lifestyle. We live on a large peace of land and have offered it to the seed group for a grove, as we are blessed by many Oaks, Pines, Cedars, Natural Wildlife, even a river run's through the property.
