I have very recently begun the Bardic course and am enjoying it very much.

I am 53 and a divorced mother with a 15 year old daughter (who is looking forward to joining OBOD too when she is able) who is home educated after suffering a hellish time at school, being bullied with the school doing nothing. Free of the school environment, she has now thankfully settled down and is now blossoming.

We have been living in beautiful South Somerset for the last six and a half years, originally from Middlesex/Surrey then we lived by the sea in Kent for several years. I am very lucky to live only 20 miles from Glastonbury.

I have learned much about witchcraft and all kinds of spiritual things and have been guided to Druidry (I realise that the knowledge has been there all the time, through many lives) and really feel like I have "come home". I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

I am also a Reiki II, hoping soon to be a Master.

Sorry to ramble - thought I should introduce myself.

Love, light and peace

hello from the new forest.
i have been a pagan for many years, had no particular path and found nothing that felt 'right' and found OBOD about three years ago.
i hovered around the edges, read everything possible on the website many, many times. then i downloaded all of the DruidCast onto my ipod and would lay in bed at night and listen...and like someone else in this thread has mentioned...it was like coming home, everything i have read is what has been inside of me all these years and it feels so 'right'.
a few days ago i decided to enrol on the bardic course, once i have a few obligations out the way (so only a few weeks!) and then decided to overcome my shyness and come and join you all on the forum :)

so hello!

Hi everybody,
I'm Aydeen, a 32 years old Italian (please forgive my errors). I have found this amazing forum surfing the web in search of a druid forum. I am interested in Druidry since I was a child and have always felt a witch, charmed by direct contact with nature and deeply confident in the truth of magic and subtle entities. I love celtic culture and believe it is my own path, that's why I am trying to know better my self and in the meantime Druidry. I have been (not convinced) catholic for a long time and it is not easy to break away from your family religious background, even though I have discovered some different roots on my mother's side recently.
I think to stay here will benefit my spiritual journey. Cheers! :hiya:

Hi Folks,
I'm Jason, and I live in York, Pennsylvania, USA...
At 34, I have decided to pursue some kind of a spiritual path, and am interested in what's happening within the O.B.O.D.
Anyone near me, please contact me! I've already messaged the Order about the local SeedGroup, and my e-mail address was sent to them, but I haven't heard anything back, as of yet...
Take Care,
Jason :shake:

Hello all!

I'm Moonshadow (I also answer to Dave) I'm 50 years old and I've just joined the forum having ordered the Bardic Pack today. I've worked for some years with Native American spirituality but have felt a pull towards more Celtic teachings for some time now. I think I need something that relates to this land.
I live on the Isle of Lewis only half an hour away from the beautiful Callanish Stones. By trade I'm a Blacksmith which I find to be a very alchemical profession. We also keep animals and grow lots of food on our Croft.

This looks like a great place to find answers and just to hang out :)

Blessings
