My name is Jacqui and I live in Hanslope, Buckinghamshire. I have been interested in Druidry for some time now reading various articles regarding the subject and am very interested in reading a bit more about the OBOD course. I have searched through all of the message boards and found some enlightening advice (although posted in 2005 I assume it's all still relevant). I am 31 years old and have always believed in 'something else' and cannot get on with organised religions and their doctrines, although I have nothing against those who follow them. I have a deep love of nature and grow most of my own vegetables, keep chickens and bees and lacewings and ladybirds. I have applied for the introductory package and hope that druidry turns out to be exactly what i've been looking for, I look forward to getting to know you all.
Welcome to the OBOD message board.

My name is Amanda and I am am new to the path of druidry. I am hoping to learn a lot by being a member of this group. I am keen to start the course material in the next couple of months and am pleased to see I am not the only new person here who is interested in the study. I hope it is ok by all that I can ask a million questions and maybe, just maybe, offer the odd answer. I look forward to meeting you all.

My name is Alex, 45 years old and i'm living in Antwerp, Belgium. I've been following the shamanic path since 7 years, but the last year lots of things were revealed and
lots of things changed. The climax of this changes happened about a month ago in Glastonbury. There it became very clear to me that shamanism is actually a part of druidism and that druidism is my true path. So here i am, just enrolled in the Bardic course. I truly hope t get to know you guys, and who knows, maybe to meet some of you.
Blessings
Alex

My names Linda, I'll be 24 years old on Samhuinn. I live in Norway, in the house I've grown up in, with my partner and our three cats, Eris, Diana and Lillith. My 79year old grandmother also lives in the house with us, but in the appartment downstairs.
I've been a hobbypagan for seven or eight years now, and about a year ago a friend of mine introduced me to OBOD and it wasn't long until I had the Bard's Introductory package in my hands. Because of my financial situation I've taken a very long time to enroll for the Bardic Course, but a couple of weeks ago I got my first packet of gwersi and so far I'm very intrigued and happy with the work and my progress. I'm really looking forward to continuing my work and getting to know my own Druidic path.
Thank you all for letting me be a part of this community.
