If anyone is looking for a group in or near Spartanburg, SC, the Spartanburg Unitarian Universalist Church has a CUUPs group. CUUPS = Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans.
The Yahoo group is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CuupsSptnbg/

As I just mentioned in another reply, I have wondered the same thing. Odd that there seem to be so few of us from New York.

Very new to this group but not new if you understand. Had a experience in York England that peaked my interest in druidry, waiting for info to begin a walk that i believe i have been on for many years just not knowing it. I live in New Hampshire in the US amongst the trees very large ones and thoroughly love it. Not sure if there is a group in NH but hoping there is.

Hello Tyriell Whisperwind, I am in NY and Jeffrey seems to be too. We could do an OBOD triad around drinks. What do you think?

It seems Manhattan may be between you both; does meeting in the city, perhaps by one of the train stations, one evening work for a drink?

Hi Jeffrey,

Yes, that would work for me. Either Penn station or Grand Central would be great. Here is my email: nadia.chauvet@gmail.com
Might be easier to contact each other directly to organize.
Looking forward to a druid meeting in NYC!

Hello Hello Tanith! I've just posted looking for OBOD members in Essex. I too am adrift. I have a lovely tutor in the States but would like some contact. I have a bit of a problem with traveling (phobias and panic attacks) but please get in touch :yay:

Toronto is the city of trees. Are their any druids living in the GTA? (Greater Toronto Area)I heard that their is a moot near Yonge and Eglinton. I have never been to one. I am a bit shy and I am a hermit so I am not sure if I would feel comfortable.
Someday my sister and I might check it out though. You just never know.

EAST SUSSEX ??

Hello all, I know there was an active group around here and there is the Anderida meeting at the long man (which I will go along to) but is there anyone who knows of a group or wants to join with a newbie like me to get something started again in the East Sussex area ?

or simply find a few people to study/work with ?

...anything really....I am happy to work on my own, but much rather share experiences with others.

Sorry...so new, I haven't got any pics or fun stuff up yet !!

The best I can do is build a fire and happy if someone wants to join me alongside it !

Hi Squeezebox - I'm having the same problem here in South Essex. I would reccommend to post on the general forums as well (Hearthfire esp) and in the seedgroup forums. I have been lucky enough to find someone who I can get together with. I've also found some local pagan groups.

I'm gong to ask if Touchstone can put something in for those of us who are looking to meet up with fellow OBOD members in their local area.

Good luck and bright blessings
Susie :)

Thanks Susie, :D

Yes I was ging to approach Touchstone also. There is a lot of Pagan activity in this area and several groups, moots and lots of interesting stuff happening throughout Sussex.

What I was hoping to find on this board or somewhere :where: is a few like minded folk who want to get together and perhaps work as a small study group. Not too intense, but rather than a pub moot :gulp: , perhaps get together and work through some course material, or study some texts, research Gods and Goddesses and perhaps look at other things of interest such as Ogham, Tarot, Ley Lines, Ritual, etc.

I am not wanting to run it or make some big thing about it, just looking for someone or a few people to encourage each other to delve into a few subjects that are of mutual interest.

So....again !.....if anyone is interested.... :shake:

I would love to hear from ANYONE :hiya: at any stage of their path, to possibly arrange a meeting say once a month in East Sussex (can use my house near Eastbourne, or if we prefer, I also have a retreat "den" in the countryside that I would be happy to share ....not quite a Druids Hut, but ....is not far off !.....and next to it is a Yurt that has a wood burning stove, I can have free use of that if we want it.....or happy to travel to other parts of Sussex).

Please get in touch if you want to !!

I will try a similar posting on the Anderrida board too, but please, anyone willing to meet in East Sussex, I would really be pleased  to hear from you !!

Ta !
