Ronnie James Dio

Postby lotuswelcome » 17 May 2010, 21:30

Ronnie James Dio, one of the best rock vocalists, who enchanted my world for many years, travelled to the Summerlands yesterday, Sunday, age 67.

I have only now learnt about him, and heard his music.

I don't think anybody ever died thinking they loved people too much, or had too much joy, or made too much music.

Whoo, that sent a shiver down my spine - The Holy Diver and myself share a set of initials. Elf, Rainbow, Black Sab, Dio - the guy was in front of all my favourite bands.

the world lost a great rock Icon, it is my favourite singer.
I wish wendy Dio and close family and friends much strenth

Dio Died peacefully in a hospital in Texas due to stomach cancer and friends and family were able to say there goodbyes to hem and later he passed away
He was optimistic all the time, after a few rounds of chemo he already talked about going back on tour
His live was on stage, he became 67 years old.
