I had a cat i found abandoned by the momma cat in my backyard. I spent all night searching for a pet store to buy some kitty formula and a bottle. About 3am i managed to get him warmed up and eating, then i had to go to work

I also have owned 2 ferrets. Stinky little things but very playful.

I have always wanted to own a skunk. I heard they can be descented and are just like cats/ferrets.

No idea, my ex took him when she left and he "escaped" from her car on the drive to her parents. I am sure he is fine though.

I have not owned a pet since, mostly because the places i am staying at do not allow them. Once i get into a right proper place, then i think i may just go rescue a kitty from the shelter

We have many, many cats just now... my didn't-get-to-the-spay-clinic-fast-enough female, Onyx, had a little of four beautiful Siamese (three girls and boy) on (appropriately!) Mother's Day. That brings the current total to (gulp) 9: Merlyn, Piper, Pavarotti, Cleo, Onyx, Picasso, Pearl, Peridot, and Pigeon. Here, have a look at the babies. Cute, eh?

1 corn snake (Seraphina)
10 horses, all PasoFinos; Ritmo, Mariquita, Mariposa, Honey, Buho, Pejerro, Abejorro, Hierro, Dove, and Zoe
12 ducks (used to be more, but there's been a fox around since late spring)
2 geese
mobs of chickens, one of which is a rooster I call Nemesis.

i have always dreamed of living on a farm with lots of animals! But i do not think i could bear to be away from the Ocean from too long. In fact, i have not been for a swim in a week and it keeps calling to me...

I just got my boyfriend/partner a kitten, so now we are a 2 cat household. He named the kitten: Nigel Jettison Pounce, but we call him Nigel for short. I got the kitten from one of my daughters' friends, who found him lost and stuck in a tree.

Little Pearl, one of Onyx's kittens, passed away on the Solstice. We're not sure why-- she suddenly starting having seizures and never recovered. Poor little kitty baby.

Ah, and part of me is jealous of you, since I haven't seen the ocean in a few years now - and that part of me is quite starved for her!
