Just got the latest Touchstone and saw the fascinating story on Druids being used to make roads safer in Austria. I had not seen this discussed on DHP (maybe I've missed the thread?!) and I think it's worth a discussion.

Love the pikkie! But also read the comments....
Somebody got quite agitated about this....
"druids.... nuf sed..... so so so stupid. omg how stupid can people be. that is insanely stupid. oh my actuall god! that is so god damn stupid!! i h8 druids. fake wasters. GET A JOB YOU DRUID WASTERS"
Following on from the dowsing bomb detector scam, I can see how scepticism may prevail.

On the other hand, many of us here have had valid and reliable experiences in sensing energies in many ways. "Laying of spirits to rest" / "Appeasing the Gods" is an age-old activity, and even in strongly Christian traditions, exorcism is common enough.
So why not for road safety?

It's a bit similar to Marco Pogcanic and his Lithopuncture http://www.markopogacnik.com/healing.html
I have no problem with this "stuff". Working on a simple premise "If it works, it's good".
Any thoughts or comments? Any OBODies involved?
