Healing energy for my little dog

Hey guys,

My dog Jenna has done something to her back (they think a prolapsed disc) and now her back legs aren't working properly and she has been admitted to the animal hospital since Saturday to have IV cortisone and pain management. It's terribly distressing and she's only 5 1/2 years old, she will have X-rays tomorrow and we will know more than. Any healing thoughts or energy would be very much appreciated as she's my family and i love her very much and want her to be comfortable and well.

I'll update while i'm here, My Jenna got about 90% of her leg function back and is running around very happily now, she hasn't got quite the bounce ability she used to have and is a bit wobbly when she's tired but otherwise is very happy

You don't say what 'make' of doggy you have, but my shih tzu (RIP ) used to get this problem fairly frequently, and a McTimoney chiropractor would get her up & running about in less than 10 days! The vet could only give her a pain killer & tell me she'd have to be put down if it didn't get better. She lived to be 16 years old.

Hi Helen,

My little one is a 5 1/2 year old shih tzu X maltese, Xrays have shown that she has several discs in her back that have calcified and could also collapse so we just have to do gentle stuff with her. she's doing much better and is walking again, though a few days ago she upset her back again but that has settled down with some rest and she's running about again, My vet is wonderful and is very open to trying alternate therapies
