Making corn dolls

Possibly the time of year I suppose, that and having seen a fantastic display of corn dollies at a country fair I attended the other day but I now seem to have this urge to have a go at making corn dollies. I have found a couple of good sites on the web including the Guild of Straw Craftsmen but the one thing I haven't found yet are instructions for a corn doll - that is a figure that looks like a doll (hope that makes sense). I have info on how to make all sorts of wonderful things but not a straw doll of which I have a few including a set of 5 which range in size a bit like a set of Russian dolls but they don't all fit inside one another Can anyone suggest a book that has these in or does anyone have instructions for such an item please.
