hit-and-run casualty

Postby Zylah » 10 Aug 2010, 18:21

Yesterday when I was leaving for my nursing final, I was delayed by the discovery of our Maine coon cat, Zoomkitty, dead in the middle of the road. She had gotten out this morning when my mother-in-law to be went out to water the plants; people go 50 on this road habitually despite the 30 speed limit.

Her body is buried near a walnut tree in back of the house. :-(

May she rest in peace. That must have been awful for you, we lost a couple of cats that way, I know how hard it is.

Hope your final went ok

I'm saddened to hear that your cat died in an accident. Such a sudden loss must be very hard.
:candle: May she have a peaceful transition :candle:

Oh, dear, sissah... another of the many things we need to catch up on... I'm so sorry to hear about ZoomKitty. She was a pretty cat. Hugs all around.
The cat, a creature which combines a high degree of sensuality with a deeply psychic and spiritual nature, teaches us that the physical and spiritual worlds are not separate, but one.

Dear Zylah,

I am so sorry for your lose - sending love and healing to you, your mother-in-law, who must be feeling so guilty, your family and to your zoomkitty in her transition to the otherworld.

You must have been devasted. I hope you pass your exam.

With love and blessings

Thanks very much for all your thoughts and condolences, everyone  . Much appreciated! We miss her very much, but such is the way of this realm.

And yes, O Hester, you MUST get yourself over here pronto. *stomps foot*

[Incidentally, for those who kindly expressed an interest in my final, I did get a 90% both on the final and in the class overall; so thanks for all the good wishes and energy.]

Thank you; I think what may be hardest is when I think I see her in one of her old hangouts out of the corner of my eye, and then I go to pet her, and she's not there. :gloomy:
