This isn't stricltly speaking the last stanza, but the last stanza to be written.
I'm writing a poem for Yule and for one line I have 2 ideas and cannot decide between them. Since I am writing this poem with the Druid and pagan communities in mind I couldn't think of a better place to seek advice. So I hope you give your opinion.
Mistletoe
Ice and snow cover the Earth
Nature says, 'stay at home
By the fire of the hearth'.
Now is not the time to rome.
So on this frosty Yuletide eve
We burn the Cailleach Nollag
And song and laughter we weave
In the light of the Christmas Hag.
And we feast and we drink sweet mead
As we relish, (on?) the sacrificed Earth
Now in death, but we know will seed
(Once the Earth stirs into rebirth/The bloody Holly know no rebirth)
Under Druid blessed mistletoe
We kiss as the Sun begins to grow
Because on the deepest, darkest night
We celebrate the rebirth of light!

I'm pleased you like it!
Great poem and I love what you chose and how you worked it into your poem! Thank You for sharing...
