Lughnasadh

Postby morgane_snowy_owl » 17 Aug 2010, 02:33

Hi folks!

Here is a picture I took this evening after arranging a bouquet for the table... I bought the wheat for my wedding bouquet in 2006 and kept it since... all the vegetables were grown by my husband, and I baked the bread for Lughnasadh (and kept some in the freezer, obviously! :-) )

The title of this piece is just "thank you"... just an amateur picture that I thought I would share with lovely people who can understand its meaning...

Hello Morgane,
Thanks for submitting this, visually it looks great and very 'mellow', you've also insired me with some similar ideas ( I doubt my bread will look like bread though ? )!

Blessings

Thank you, Golden Eagle and starbird, for your comments! :D

Starbird, if you like making bread, or if you want to start making bread, I have only one book to recommend, you won't need any other after you read that one:

http://www.amazon.ca/Artisan-Bread-Five-Minutes-Revolutionizes/dp/0312362919/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1282219035&sr=8-1

And if you like pagan cooking, that book is amazing (and her foccacia recipe is absolutely fantastic):

http://www.amazon.ca/Cooking-Seasons-Simple-Vegetarian-Feasts/dp/0738703230/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1282219149&sr=8-1

I LOVE FOOD! AND DRUIDISM! :cloud9:

Morgane,
Thanks for the book recomendations, I'm going to look into both of them as I , a little to much adore healthy food and cooking for myslef and others. Pagan food even better!
I'll post my attempts at making bread ( maybe???).
