Help for my Mother - Pleeeeease!

Postby emmao1111 » 20 Aug 2010, 21:02

On Sunday 15/08/10 my Mother was driving home from work along a residential street, when a drunk driver shot out from a side street and hit her on her driver door at 60mph. He bounced the car sideways, through a metal street lamp which ripped a massive hole in the concrete, a metal street sign which did the same before slamming her into a building. She was trapped in the wreckage for an hour before being cut out by the fire brigade.

The drunk driver ran off from the scene with nothing but a nose bleed (he has now been caught by Police) and while she was still trapped another male was actually trying to break into her passenger side to steal her handbag from the seat beside her! (What happens to people to make them that way?!?!?) Thankfully she has no memory of the accident.

She was lucky enough to have no broken bones but as you can imagine she has massive soft tissue trauma / internal bleeding and whiplash from head to toe.

She has spent her whole life caring for others, sometimes in the worst situations imaginable, and has never asked for thanks. She retired a few years ago but even since then she has been volunteering at a convalescent home a couple of nights a week, which is where she was driving home from on the night.

Please, if you can, spend a few moments sending healing to her. Everyone who knows and loves her would be extremely grateful as she needs all the help she can get. :candle:

And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid.

Emma, I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's accident, and the associated horrors. :gloomy: I will certainly be sending whatever good I can her way. For you also; I hope you are able to be at peace and center despite this being so upsetting. If you can do that, and be the strong spinal column for your family, it will help.

Be well, you and all yours.

Dear Emmao,

I am sending reiki healing to your mother to help to a speed her recovery. She sounds a warm, generous and caring person.

It is so sad that someone so out of control was able to cause such harm.
It is also sad that someone had sunk so low as to try and steal your mothers handbag in those cirmunstances.

I am also sending healing to you, your mothers friends and family for the highest good.

Take care.
With blessings and light

Hello everyone. I cannot thank you enough for what you have done / are doing. All week Mum has been a kind of living statue. E.g yesterday morning it took and hour to get her off her bed and into a chair that was right next to it. Today I was amazed to find that while she cannot get herself in to bed she has managed to get out on her own! Alot of the swelling has started to go down, the bruising is finally coming out and she has even taken a few steps on a walking frame. She has reduced her pain relief too - all in 24 hours. I have a sneaking suspicion that this huge accelration in healing has something to do with all you wonderful caring people.

Also, I have been suffering from a chest infection all week and turned a corner with that over night too. Coincidence? I think not! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
