Celtic translations for Ogham presents

This is a forum for serious discussions and debate on Celtic linguistics and other scholarly topics regardic Celtic history and culture. Celtic translations for Ogham presents

Hello Everyone,

At a friend's house, I saw a lovely framed item that she had been given by another friend. What impressed me was that it was Ogham... my friend had thought it was just a leaf picture!

Anyways, with Christmas approaching, I have decided to do something similar for my friends. Could anyone provide me with the Ogham lettering for the following English words (I realise that they will need to be translated to Celtic to work properly - and that's the bit I fail on):

What kind of "Celtic" are You thinking of?

Here it is from the other section just in case;
Buiochas -Cairde -Ciunas

I chose these words for this reason; Gratitude/ Friends/ Quietness

All three are translated in Irish Gaelic since exact Gaelic ('P' vs 'Q') was not requested.

That's brilliant - thank you.

I can now get on.. the Ogham bit's the easy one (of course!) it'll be the lettering at the bottom that will be the challenge... finding the right font (and brush!!)

I would have freaked if I saw that. I love Ogham. I have two Ogham tattoos :whistle:
