General but limited review of herbs and their powers

The majority of herbs are serviceable as spices for meals. In addition many have some type of medicinal power. Some have other magical properties. Here is a summary of most of what I know at this time.

Chamomile is soothing.
St John's Wort helps get rid of emotional depression/soothes nerves
marijuana - is soothing to many but has intense effects on many: many cannot remain clear headed and use this to soothe their nerves but some actually can.

Mint - is good for banishments and is beneficial to the digestive system; I believe this applies to all the mints, but am not absolutely certain.

star anise: creates good luck
agrimony: good for removing curses, jinxes, bad vibes from others
ginger: good for cleaning the digestive tract, and good for love

There are many herbs which strengthen the immune system. In Germany, there are herbal infusions in ways that I never noticed in the USA. The tea is not so often tea but an herbal infusion of some other kind. I heard a rumor that someone prevented himself from coming down with the black death when it was in Europe by drinking the right tea - something that killed off and banished whatever that was and boosted his immune system.

There is more, but not much. Most of the rest of what I have right now, I put into a section on love, because i learned it for a writing contract this past week.
