Just wondering if this project is still happening. It would be a shame for it to disappear....

I'm still interested but feel that we need to push forward or let the idea go. We've been discussing it since Brianna first posted the idea in January of 2009! Putting a long-distance group project together can be a little like herding cats

Quick recap.

okay, so we have the following:

material - preshrunk, color-fast cotton" or 'patchwork' cotton or preshrunk dye-fast recycled material
size - 12 by 12 inches (30 by 30 cm)

Squares pledged:
1 cec235
2 silverleaf willow
3 oakapple
4 Aurora
the 3 squares already done
8 plaidcat

questions:
Is everyone who pledged a square still interested?

Oakapple, did you talk to your sister in law about putting the quilt together?
Is there someone else who will volunteer for this?

Do we want to stay with the same theme of Druidry and Nature? (will take a minimum of 9 squares)
Do we want to change the theme and go with the calendar theme ? (for this we'd need 12 squares)
The three squares that are already done can still be used for the calendar idea, they just won't refer specifically to any one month. They can be used as fillers for those months that are not covered by pledges .

any thoughts, ideas, questions, answers?

I think we have a better chance of competeing the quilt with the Druidry and nature theme as we only need 1 more square to get the minimum number of 9 :D

Who would people be sending there square to once its finished?
