our OBOD Assembly in Port Lincoln runs from Oct 6-10 2011. i haven't got many details with me right now, but you can read all about it in serpentstar: http://serpentstar.wordpress.com/

Regarding doing the course, spread over a year it's about $31 a month. There's many a soul out there that drinks more than that in beer a month - a sobering thought?
If shared, the other folk need to pay $41 once off for membership. Then it's a matter of photocopying the material, which doesn't take long. It might be possible to persuade friends to share the burden of that monthly cost too, if necessary. this is based more or less on the exchange rate as it was in the last month and will, of course, fluctuate. Also, the Order does have provision for allowing people to pay less due to hardship.
