Visiting the Dublin area

Hi! I am planning a visit to the Dublin area in March and would be glad of any suggestions of places to go and things to see.
Newgrange and Tara are on my list already.
As I will be there over the Spring Equinox it would be great to get to an open ritual if there is one. Thanks in advance, Oakapple

Some things to do.... all depends on your interests.

In Dublin.

First stop must be the National Museum:

Bring your well charged-up credit card for the book shop at the museum.

Not far away is the Royal Irish Academy. Ask very nicely, and they might let you see the Book of Ballymote and other treasures.

A tip about Newgrange. There are several tour options. Most people go for a visit to the main site. Your time may be limited, so go for the Knowth option. Much more interesting and fewer people.
