Signed Up for full course, but only got Intro Package

Postby Kelly » 15 Feb 2011, 02:52

Greetings! I hope I am placing this inquiry in the right spot on the forums. If not, I apologize in advance.

Back on 22 January I joined OBOD. I selected the option to Join the Order and receive the training course in the Text version, and chose to pay monthly. I received my long awaited package today :yay: , but I believe it may be incomplete. I only received the introductory package with the first two Gwersi. I did not get any other materials.

I am aware that the entire course does not come at one time. I think I read that you get four Gwersi at a time, and they are mailed once a month. From what I understood My first Package was to be the introductory package, the first four Gwersi (with the first two being in the introductory package), the monthly Touchstone magazine, and some other materials.

I am very excited to dive into my first Gwers, but I was hoping to be able to gain access to the Bard forum upon receiving my package. Having read the information on the forums about accessing the Members Only forums, I know that I need Gwers 3 to do so, and that wasn't in the package I received today. Are other materials (including gwers 3 & 4) supposed to be included in this package, or do they come separately within a few days, or at a later time?

Thanks in advance for any light you could shed on my confusion.

You should receive a second mailing in short order. If you haven't received it in the next week or so, please contact the office (office@druidry.org) and I'm sure they'll be happy to sort it out for you.

Hiya kelly,
Welcome to the Order! I too was looking forward and still look forward to receiving my monthly mailings. Unfortunately gwers 3 & 4 don't come with the first mailing just the first 2 intro gwers and gwers 1 & 2. Plus other stuff relating to seed groups, tree plantation programmes and druidry in general. I think? you may have to wait until your next months mailing to get access to the members only forum but hang in their!?
What I always do if I have a queiry is email annie at OBOD - office@druidry.org - she answers any questions promptly, if you've not already done this! You could also phone up if you need an immediate resolution.

Blessings

Thanks Art and Starbird for your help :-) I listened to my first Gwers while washing the dishes this morning, and it made the task much more pleasant. I like to listen to Podcasts, especially Damh the Bard's cast when doing dishes too.
