Most fascinating..especially the interview with the Bretan druid:

Mr Kerloc'h said his group did not claim to reconstruct Celtic practices. "Our relationship with the ancients is a symbolic one. Our rituals take place in nature, in the open air, in connection with the cycles of nature and of the cosmos. Man is part of nature and that is why we pay homage to it and believe that we must preserve it to preserve ourselves. It is a question of survival and respect of that which sustains our lives."

Imagine staying erect for 5000 years.

And imagine the young ladies still being awed after 5000 years. perhaps there is something we could learn from the ancients John.

Well to go back to the subject of Brittany's megaliths and mega-myths, I have introduced a picture of a Mega big Megalith and you one of a Mega-Myths with this quote: "It is usually not the guys who dream such dreams."

It reminds me of the Lia Fail stone on the Hill of Tara. Yep. Looks phallic.

Many megalithic passage tombs give an impression of a rounded pregnant mother lying on her back with the entrance resembling a vagina. Some even have stones aligned vertically on each side giving the impression of labia.

I think they did this intentionally giving it an impression of an earth mother. Maybe it represents the dead's rebirth into the otherworld?

Then they are " The Paps of Anu ", two mountains in Ireland representing the breasts of Anu ( Dana ). http://www.goddessalive.co.uk/issue3/issue3.html

Then they are the mysterious Sheela Na Gigs found at churches throughout Europe, especially Ireland. http://www.sheelanagig.org/

Thank you for this article! It's always hard to find informations about the Celts in France, they are usually forgotten. I'd love to go to Brocéliance one day.
