Postby seandmryan » 21 Mar 2011, 00:30

Hi there can anyone shine some light on this prayer of Amageen - maybe its my spelling but cant find anything on the internet !
He was apparently an early celt to arrive in Ireland .

Amergin White-knee --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amergin_Gl%C3%BAingel

also look at the Book of Invasions :

Also Eyrnn Rowann Laurie has her view of some of the texts supposedly written by him:

Most dear is fire to the sons of men,
most sweet the sight of the sun;
good is health if one can but keep it,
and to live a life without shame. (Havamal 68)
