Today, I learned that even though people can appear to work out their problems, unless they have truly solved the issues they will return three-fold to make life really interesting.
Also that friends are worth more than we can ever know.

Been an interesting evening...
Which was first, is it darkness, is it light?

Greetings and well met again,

I have recently learnt this:

"If you love someone, you'll have to be able to accept all of their burdens and carry them as your own.
If you truly love someone, you'll must find the strength in your heart to let your lover go."

I am offically a broken shell of a man. Nothing is right in my head now.

May the spirits watch over you. / l \

Ebela'ar, there are further things to be learned from this:
- Emotional sadness can be like a fizzy drink - the initial release is overwhelming but it does settle
- having the strength to let someone go is a building block to a new life; stride forwards.

I hope time heals well.
Blessings

Enjoy this life. It would be a shame if we looked forward to the next, only to find we forgot the one before.

Today I have learnt that there are so many people that don't realise they are in the same boat together so therefore lacking each others support ~ I intend to change this :where:

Today I learnt that one large plastic bag I took on my walk wasn't enough to collect all the rubbish people left behind...
The sounds of the winds in the elms
like the strings of a harp being played,
the note of the blackbird that claps
with the wings of delight in the glade.

I learned something great today and would like to share my story. I woke up this morning to sun shining in my window and stepped outside to a beautiful cloudless sky and an amazing 65 degree (F) day. I decided to go to the bird sanctuary near my home and listen to Gwers 2 and see what I could find. As I sat down on my favorite bench I immedietely noticed a Red-Belled Woodpecker peeling bark off of a dead limb and pecking for grubs. Smiling I kept track of how many holes he pecked and how many treats he got per attempt. I did this for about 45 mins and he got 4 bugs out of 7 holes (which was great although he was a fat guy) and as I was going to write about my experience I noticed a Morning Dove sitting in a branch probably 5 feet beneith the Woodpecker almost completely camoflaged. I know he was sitting there the whole time as nothing else flew in or out of my peripheral other than some robins. I then thought to myself that it is amazing as to how much we don't see in plain site, yet at the same time, how much you do see when you take the time to look. As I reflected on that, I realized how much I rush through my life and don't take my time. Some times rushing and wanting things done quickly gets myself into trouble (mostly with my wife :) ) Today I learned to be patient and take my time. To think things through and finish what I have on my plate before I add more. The answer to my questions or the reasons for me being in trouble may be in plain site but I don't takethe time to see them. I know I'll still make mistakes and get into trouble, but at least it will be a well thought out mistake.

What was great in this refletion is that as I did this I looked up into the sun to let it warm my face only to see a raccoon in the upper branches of a pine. I then cursed myself for not brining my binoculars and walke up close to the tree to get a better look only to be greated by Brown Creeper happily chirping his way up the trunk of the pine with not a care in the world!!! I then went to gaze at the lazy Raccoon swaying in the branches being rocked to sleep only to see and Osprey soaring directly above me!! Today is a great day!!! :yay:

Today I learned that the more level and centred/grounded a person you become the more people feel they can talk with you about their problems. And through this you have to grow personally to be able to try understand/assist them. And that this in turn brings you to seem yet more level and centred/grounded...

I've learned that sometimes it's better to just get things over with even if you don't feel prepared for it. You can't always know if you really weren't prepared or if you just didn't think you were.

I've also learned through the past couple of months that when you devote enough time and energy to creating art, it really does re-create you. As time goes on, it dawned on me that I wasn't taking the things I'd seen in my mind's eye and rendering them; I was using them as a starting point and interacting with the piece, working with it rather than necessarily on it.

clothoid, a lovely double spiral curve

That making myself create/design something even when I don't feel inspired leads to more creative ideas and then more and then more......

Being creative seems to be almost like a muscle that wastes away when it's not used. But the more we use it the stronger it gets.

today i learned that if i'm working in the garden the kitchen may have to stay messy. and no matter if i rush or don't the mess always waits! nothing is so patient as a mess!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I've learnt that spirit works in mysterious ways, I have had a strange week with strange synchronistic events and strange dreams. I had links to war and violence, masculine aggression,in two places. An odd text from a church aquaintance, that had been sent to me by mistake, asking after my father's health. It is the anniversary of his death tomorrow, we discovered the mistake,in that the text had been meant to go to someone with the same name as me. Anyway that has opened up an unexpected communication from a community I had decided to walk away from just a couple of months ago.
Then I have had dreams of a water blessing ceremony, I have not attended any ceremonies such as this, but it was very vivid, so I googled water blessing ceremonies and immediately discovered the council of thirteen grandmothers. The thirteen month calendar being significant, pieces of a puzzle coming together and obviously I am looking at a Celtic tradition that seems to cross link through more than one source, as is being revealed by such events. Just odd.
Indigeneous female representatives proclaiming a message of peace and nurture for earth to enable the preservation of this planet for future generations. Women, the moon and the menstrual cycle.
So i have learnt i may need to keep a diary of strange coincidences and events. I'll do that I think.
