Dandelion Sky
Grey path leading, mist eye
Tears gathered, shadowed heart.
Sun was golden, hawthorn budded may.
Blackbird singing calling the way.
Stopped a moment, lost where known
Separate, different, hearing Raven’s caw.
Guarded by bramble, dog-rose and blackthorn
Blackbird’s gateway, clear came the call.
What a vision beheld my eye.
Through the gateway, dandelion sky.
Smell of heaven, gentled my soul
Wrapped around my shoulders, blanket of gold.
Bees buzz lazily, enchantments rise.
Ancient memories fill my eyes.
Dancers circle, wheel and spin
Ritual, rhythms, words that heal.
Golden pathway, hazy eye.
Guardians gathered, dandelion sky.
