Good point Bart...!!! Physicists in CERN are positing several hundred dimensions may exist now...

Well said Lily...!!!
I think that would be a good premise to work on in general for a forum such as this.
I also would like to state that I am not arguing for the existence of Fairys with colorful wings starring in Disney movies, it was just an example...

There are 879 other subforums here... they state:The discussion here is general and far-ranging but should have something to do with Druidry.
Perhaps what you are talking about is "Non-Overlapping Magisteria"... the NOMA principle as "the magisterium of science covers the empirical realm: what the Universe is made of (fact) and why does it work in this way (theory). The magisterium of religion extends over questions of ultimate meaning and moral value."
True, but in my example of the Fairies... they are not "related to Druids" either... there are no accounts mentioned that I am aware of wherein Aristotle, Pythagoras, Tacitus, or Caesar ever mentioned Druids interacting with Faeries even once...
I LIKE the NOMA Principle...!!!
I am a BIG fan of modern Physics and modern Science... and I find History fascinating to the point that a new discovery that puts it all on its ear is just a bump in the road for me.
I spent the last six months in High School working after hours with my A.P. Physics professor on calculations for rocket fuel equations based on the Saturn-V frame.
He allowed me access to the necessary books and checked my equations on the blackboard and my notebook, but never helped me find anything.
I had a BLAST doing that
For the record, I do believe in the possibility of energies that could be used metaphysically, but I do not believe everyone can do it nor do I believe that many are actually working "High Magic".
I do believe however that the power of the human mind is far greater than many give it credit for and that anyone has the ability to tap into their own mind to do amazing things to themselves.

I think it depends a lot on the milieu. If one is surrounded by the backward and superstitious or irrational then the bright light of science and rationality is a blessing. If one has been swamped by pure rationalism and scientific understand and have found that one has 'paranormal experiences' despite this and it turns out one's mental health is also good, then one is dealing with material that might need to handled anyways - through means other than denial. Anyways, that's actually what I'm doing 'playing with pagans' anyways. If nothing paranormal happens to you then there is no reason at all for you to believe in it.
