Prior to administering anything, homeopathic or conventional to anyone's diet, pets especially, we feel that personal health history must be considered, and a medical professional should be consulted. There are many instances where even the most "harmless" additive has had contraindications and caused more harm than good. Retreat

Postby taryn » 13 Jul 2011, 10:06

Does anyone know of a healing place or sanctuary in the UK for a short retreat? Ideally with close ties to Druidry or at least closely bound to nature.
Things in life have come to a bit of a head this week and I think this is the moment for a short timeout to get my head clear and work with healing energies.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.

I'm not a UK citizen, but I believe there are quite some places close to nature where you can go for a litlle retrait on your own, like some of the Scottisch isles ...

If you are looking more for a community, although I've never been there myself, I heard some nice things about Findhorn from a soulmate: http://www.findhorn.org/

For a starter, I'll send you already some healing energies myself

http://thegoodretreatguide.com/ has a listing of places to go for retreat, which might help you find somewhere.

More cheaply, the YHA - http://www.yha.org.uk/ - will rent you a bed (sometimes a room) in a shared house. They have hostels in lots of fairly remote locations, places which are popular for walking and climbing, as well as in cities.

Greetins to you and Taryn. I see you both are new to our Board. I hope you enjoy your stay!

The timing, etc., may not work for you, but there is:
