The Forgotten Groves

The Forgotten Groves
~~~
Leaves rustling on the forest floor,
The forgotten groves visited no more.
Legend tales of old folklore,
Sleeping trees that know the score.
Who in the valley calls out, no one knows,
Perhaps it's the Goddess calling to the groves?
Ghostly visions of a druids cloak,
Circle round the sacred oak.
Sunlight breaks through the swaying trees,
The gentle wind becomes a breeze.
Timeless voices echo forth,
Ancient knowledge from the north.
Those who know that time once more,
Are to feel the forest lore... ... ...
Greetings,
That is lovely as well as inspirational
"The Way itself is a strengthening of spirit, a growing closer to the balance that governs the world. Progress is slow along the Way, but every step of the journey is like a note in the oldest tune of all. When you have the tune complete, you complete yourself." from Moonheart by Charles De Lint
Beautiful and inspiring :) There is something special about the way you write. It truely is a gift of yours.
The trees reach out as silent witnesses always willing to listen to your troubled heart. Nature offers her ears to anyone who speaks into the omnipotant silence. There are places that wait for you. You are loved....you are wanted....you are cared for. You are not alone.....you are not alone.....you have never been alone.
Thank you for writing and sharing this: I love the thought of something hidden and forgotten, waiting for all of its mysterious beauty to be rediscovered.
Thank you, I aslo love the thought of something hidden and forgotten, waiting for all it's mysterious beauty to be discovered.
I can add to the list, lost passage ways, legends of "walled up" monks and of course sea mysteries.
In my writings I have included this kind of thing in the past.
December is close by and i will post something very different next! :)
