Today, I'm thankful for everyone who gave me the drive to keep pushing through school and life.

Today I'm thankful that I've got a cold and not flu. At least I can function at half speed. :-(

Today I'm thankful for my education despite its boredom. :D

I am thankful for a new angle to look at things from. Even if that angle is 'Uphill all the way' right now!

I am thankful for this Feastday and for the community here and all of the blessings that Brigit has showered on my little Celtic group here at the foot of the mountains.

Blessings to all!

A friend who forgave my bad judgement.

I am thankful for Imbolc, the new life that comes out of death. More specifically, I am thankful for my children, and for the fact that they are now with my husband and me in a virtual Paradise, where new horizons are opening up for us all. :cloud9:

Most prosaically (but sincerely), I am thankful for the 'Ignore' list on this board, which prevents unnecessary aggravation from returning pests.

An absolutely marvelous sunrise to start the day: clear sky, a hoar frost on the grass, and a broad plain to watch the ever-changing colours over.

It was below freezing, but I felt so energized by this that I didn't notice.

I'm thankful I encountered a talented band to join. My third audition turned out fantastic today, and I'm now a proud member!

I have just written an enormous list of things to be thankful for then deleted it as I began to feel guilty for having so much, so all I will say is I'm thankful for my life whatever it brings to me.

I'm thankful to have a job (even though 90% of the time it makes me want to jump off a cliff due to the absolutely boring nature of it).

Have you read Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake? It helped me learn to love the boredom of my life, the monotony and pedantic tasks we have to do. I'm thankful for that!

But mostly thankful for an old challenge which has reared its head, giving me a chance to enjoy the horn-headed, spitting, swearing nature which I always try to deny but secretly do really enjoy. :lion:

For the first time this year I felt the energy of the earth and trees stirring. It's a bit early for us. Usually we are in a deep freeze at this time and that stirring doesn't happen until more into March. It felt great and hopeful though. It's been a very mild winter here. Then again we woke up to 2 inches of snow this am. We 've still got a little ways to go. :D
