I took this photograph on my mobile phone in a churchyard in Uffington, after visiting the chalk horse and Waylands smithy. It was only after I got home that I saw the Goddess in the tree! The photo has not been altered in any way

“So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?” - Neil deGrasse Tyson

“Recognize that the very molecules that make up your body, the atoms that construct the molecules, are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centers of high mass stars that exploded their chemically rich guts into the galaxy, enriching pristine gas clouds with the chemistry of life. So that we are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically. That’s kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that. It’s not that we are better than the universe, we are part of the universe. We are in the universe and the universe is in us.” - Neil deGrasse Tyson

This is a photo of a maple tree just beginning its life in the woods behind my house. To me this is the essence of Beltane....Life. As the wing of the samara decomposes and adds its nutrients to the soil it leaves a lacy veil to cover the seedling as it grows. It’s fantastic to be able to see the beauty of the small beginning of a majestic maple.

This is one of my favourite pics from a trip we took to Cape Breton and New Brunswick last year. Strange fogs seem to just randomly come in off the ocean here in the Bay of Fundy even on warm and sunny days, This pic (with a little imagination) reminds me of the Awen symbol. I now have it as my desktop to inspire me every day.

Hi all

This is the first one of my serie of pics taken last summer at the Alhambra, in Granada, during a night visit to the Palace. flashes were not allowed, so it´s all natural illumination.

This one is the Patio and Tower of Comares.

And the last one of the entry. The arcade of the Patio de los Leones (Lion´s Courtyard). Unfortunately the Fountain of the Lions was removed for restoration (now they look superb!) so there was no chance to see them in their location.
