I am thankful for the internet that connects the world to each other, and for the man who has entered my life giving me reason to love again.

I'm thankful for my family, friends, and pets who've always been there for me. I'm also thankful for the internet for facilitating the sorts of communities such as this one that wouldn't have been possible twenty or even ten years ago.
“So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?” - Neil deGrasse Tyson

“Recognize that the very molecules that make up your body, the atoms that construct the molecules, are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centers of high mass stars that exploded their chemically rich guts into the galaxy, enriching pristine gas clouds with the chemistry of life. So that we are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically. That’s kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that. It’s not that we are better than the universe, we are part of the universe. We are in the universe and the universe is in us.” - Neil deGrasse Tyson

I'm grateful for the sun after the rain we've been having the last few days, although we do need the rain :)

Today I'm thankful for the beautiful 15 mile long nature trails at the end of my street. I live each and every day for the 2-3 hours of hiking and admiring the sights and sounds of nature. These forests are truly magical!

Remembering all the great people I met at the Winter gathering at Glastonbury...
And the last few months of working in the Ovate grove (thank you Brendan)
The new moon...

Today, I am thankful for hearing a friend's voice on the telephone. She's been quite ill, but her voice sounds like she is regaining her strength.
