Today I learned that if you use deep breathing and focus on retaining your composure you can overcome a stressful situation.

The situation is as follows; stuck in Denver because of weather for two days, got lost and they closed my flight (I was 2 minutes late), and I am supposed to be showing a movie at the library where I work in five hours. Still, I managed to do some deep breathing and a very nice clerk got me booked on the 7pm flight tonight. (We won't talk about the ranting I did over the phone to my husband before I started deep breathing).

Anyway, the moral of the story is to plan your time according to the situation

. I am still of the opinion that if the "Powers that Be" wanted me to fly they would have given me wings
Oh well, I have some time to catch up on e-mails, work on my book, and read. What seemed to be a catastrophe has turned into, "A borderline Eleven day"!

Peace to all!
