Sun Gazing.

Postby seabhac star » 04 Aug 2012, 16:28

I was wondering, has anyone ever heard of the phenomenon known as sun gazing? I recently saw a documentary on this. The sun gazer is supposed to gaze at the sun for long periods of time at around sunset. The body supposedly becomes energised from this procedure. Some claim to not have to eat! I always heard that you should not gaze into the sun. Is this phenomenon real or am I a victim of a hoax? (I have never tried this and I wouldn't suggest it without further research.) Just wondering.- :D

I read about the possibility of becoming a fruititarian in Linda Goodman's Star Signs, however it is a very lengthly process. She claims that people may have at one time been able to be breathitarians, but its impossible with the levels of pollution today.
As far as getting other energies from the sun, I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem unreasonable. Over the years I've done meditations that had me using the sun to bring or dispel certain energies.

We all live off of the light of the sun. First through photosynthesis, then through the food chain. I'm quite happy with this arrangement, thank you. :old:

Guess its time to start gathering mud recipes and see who's the first to turn green...

We could eat mud, turn green, but for different reasons.

"Errrgh, I think what I ate wasn't mud..."

What I read on the Internet about breathitarians was that there were a lot of fatalities. Predictable, of course. Men are not plants to live on photoynthesis I am afraid. I think it would be better not to fall for every green nonsense that is written in the world.

I think at the foundation it's more a metaphor, than literal.
