Out The Gap

Postby Seawolfman » 21 Aug 2012, 12:18

I was sitting in a coffee shop reading Philip Carr Gomm's 'The Druid Way',when I was overcome with a desire to write something.
It was inspired by the triumph bonneville t100 sitting outside the coffee shop window, which happened to be mine.I had no paper at the time so i ended up writting it on the inside of the back cover of the book, apologies Philip!))
Its a total stream of conciousness, but any comment is greatly received.
Blessings.....

Out The Gap.

The trumpet sounds,
the door awide,
the scent perfumes the countryside.
Reversing wheel , direction comes,
from front to back and side to side.

I sit atop ,
attempt a stride,
a vanishing point
to worlds end tide.

Now cling steadfast
a rush of wind,
the future past and now abide.

To north to south to east to west,
a glint of light....
The semi crest.

Return to where I left before,
the journeys end...
I close the door.
