Hi, I had to comment, the second words you wrote really touched me. It may sound silly but I saw someone crush a crane fly in their hand. It happened so quickly but I was shocked and taken a back, I felt the world around me cry for the life that was taken so swiftly and brutally.
@Craigieboi Thanks for sharing, it's wonderful to know that what I wrote spoke to you. Sometimes insignificant details hit me with disproportionate force... like the death of a mosquito, or a full moon, or rain on a river.
I admit I can't kill flies...I used to catch them and take them outside as a kid. Now fleas on the other hand...game over. After all, they're threatening my kittens! Motherly(or I suppose grandmotherly) instinct and all.
