Postby Ade Sundog » 18 Sep 2012, 18:46

Hello there,
As i'm sure you are awl aware, the govt. has issued the first licence's for the Badger cull.
This is deeply depressing i know.
But awl is not lost.
Pro badger cull supermarkets : Sainsbury's, Tesco, Morrison's, Aldi and Lidl.
Please tell them your opinion on their Facebook pages, or by any other means.
Supermarkets who won't be buying their dairy produce from farms involved with the cull are :
Co-op, Marks and Spencer and Waitrose.
Asda, in the meantime, are playing at being ostriches.

If you only sign one petition then please sign this one :

Nice one Ade, gotta say i'm getting fed up with hearing about farmers crying over their TB infected cattle. Don't get me wrong, I have every sympathy but hey I love my dog beyond all reason but if he died from TB i wouldn't dream of going out and killing a badger. Twisted logic. Please sign the petition, if not for the badgers do it for Brian May who is rarely seen in the wild these days.

Great article, Ade Sundog. Thanks for sharing.

I heard on Radio Devon recently a farmer saying that culling the badgers will prevent TB from spreading to our domestic animals and the human population. He referred to a case in Ireland where a farmer died of TB. I think they are trying to put the "frighteners" on!

Have already signed the e-petition [Brian May]

I will also take part in today's ritual.

It's very reassuring to find that not all farmers have been hoodwinked by shameful Defra propaganda, those are great articles.

Meanwhile, at the BBC.... a cat was thrown amongst the pigeons! I thought this was beautifully subtle!!

Jan Rowe, a farmer running Gloscon, the company which will carry out the shooting in Gloucestershire questioned the wisdom of choosing the picture.

“Given the circumstances and the current situation, I would have thought it was marginally provocative,” he said.

Marginally?? :D
