Peace in the Trees

Postby gord » 21 Sep 2012, 17:16

Hello all. New here. New to drudiry as well, but I have always enjoyed writing and decided to write a poem about some trees that I saw in a meditation.

The sun shines brightly overhead.
Shining down through leaves so red.

A canopy of nature provides the shade.
The rays of power begin to fade.

The quiet grove of trees surrounds.
Peace and quiet, not a sound.

A portal to another place.
A druid smiles, a glowing face.

Energy from Annwn, to behold.
Whispers from the past, forever untold.

The druid stands and walks away.
Love and harmony for another day.

Welcome new Druid.... may your Bardic grade go well. :hiya:

You've got off to a good start here... simple, but it hits the right buttons

Well done.
