Welcome to the OBOD Board and welcome to the Order as well.
Arthfael wrote:Hello! I am new to OBOD and to Druidry, but I'm looking forward to exploring both! I am 31 years old, live in central Illinois in the USA and work as a history professor. I just got my first packets of Gwersi and can't wait to get started!

I live in Denver, Colorado with my family. I'm 46 years old and an aspiring fantasy author. I wrote my first book about a Druid's apprentice and when I was researching the character I found out about OBOD and now I'm excited to be starting the Bardic gwersi. I'm so happy to have found the OBOD!

Welcome to the OBOD Board. All the best wishes with your book.nia-ceridwyn wrote:Brightest Blessings!
I am Nia Ceridwyn, I'm 38 and live in the Southeast USA. I've been following a Pagan path for many years, but recently my quest for a more organic self has led me to OBOD and to Druidry. I've always felt an affinity for the Celtic mythos and traditions, so it feels very natural to be taking the first steps on this new journey through the OBOD program. I will be starting the Bardic program as soon as my Heart receives his materials and I am able to join alongside him, and very much look forward to it, as it appeals to the writer in me.
I am a writer, poetry mostly though I do write some short prose at times, as well as being an avid knitter, crocheter and spinner. I love to cook and to bake, and love to explore the world around me - whether that be in domestic or foreign travel, or just wandering through the local woods.

Blessed journey to you and your "Heart".Rosedawn wrote:I am Rosedawn and was born and raised in Britain but moved to N California many moons ago. I have been following a pagan path for many, many years, and am overjoyed at how the pagan ways have returned and the growth of groups like OBOD. I am listening to the pod casts from the beginning and loving them. I just got Damh's new CD and that's another star in the firmament. Thanks for welcoming me into your circle.
Welcome to the Board.
Kick back and relax and if you have any questions just ask.

I am Erias. I'm 42 years old and currently live in Maryland, USA. I joined the order back in 96 and have been taking my time following the Ovate path for a good long while now. I used to be active long ago on the Nobod list and I'm betting there are at least a few of you here that know what that was. It was shortly after that list fell apart and a little while before this message board formed that I became somehow disconnected and more solitary. Now I am slowly trying to reground myself and delving back again into my Bardic work while still exploring the divination side of my Ovate studies.
I look forward to reconnecting with some of you I may have known as well as meeting many new faces.

I started the bardic grade in 2009, rushed through some stuff recklessly and then was distracted by events. I've just come back to it and started again at the very beginning and its been a fantastic new start. Looking forwards to chatting with you all on the boards once again!
