PILGRIMAGE

Hi everyone, great to be here. Hope you enjoy the poem.

PILGRIMAGE

The ancient Druids
seemed at ease travelling
dark forest paths and crossing
great rivers to enquire into the Subtle.
They valued the master who had Realised,
they revered nature, not for its beauty
but for what makes it beautiful.
People these days
who walk around admiring the view
marvelling at mountains or meadow flowers
miss what is Present, instead their energy is drawn
towards somethings and repelled by others
this is not how the Ovate perceives the world.
When the Established is overlooked
no amount of walking will lead you there.
As where It is, is where you are
better sit still
until you remember.
