Eisteddfod

Oh good, another competition!
Joy races through my blood
Another chance to have an audiance
Listening to my work
And to the good works of others
My worthy competition
Respect in the air
Compliments flying
Nobody loses
We all win
Because Eisteddfods are so much fun
Audiance applauding, whistling, cheering
Bards smiling, creative bardic juices flowing
Ovates and druids remembering their time as bards
Some return to their creative selves and enter
The competitions too
Laughter, songs, poems, art work
All is enjoyed and appreciated
Nobody's work is destroyed
All works are recognized as good in some way
All people are seated and enjoy
The Eisteddfod!
