In honor of Earth Day, we would like bring your attention to an exciting business venture from Anne Z. Parker, PhD and Karen Jarldane who have established the Boulder Centre for Master Builders.

The vision for the Boulder Centre for Master Builders is to "reveal, teach, and promote the practical understanding of Earth energies, geomancy, sacred geometry and natural geometry" with the purpose of creating "healthy, harmonized spaces for living and working and a more balanced human relationship with the natural world."

One day as I stepped out from my house
Into the dawning spring morning
And smelled the fresh rain-washed air,
And heard the melodious chorus of woodland birds -
Blackbird and wren, robin and chaffinch,
And the curious gurgling call of the young rook -
High over the rough grass of the field by my house
A skylark warbled, unseen at a great height,
Like a singer direct from heaven,
Or a friend calling me from a distance.

We would like to like to share a blog of interest from Magpie, an archaeologist, teacher , published author and Celebrant. In her blog, Magpie explores the archeological sites in Orkney and her personal spiritual connection.

Her most recent blog, "Midhowe-a contemplation of death," she explores the Midhowe chambers and comes to her own realizations about death as seen in the excerpt we now share. To read the complete blogspot and others that may be of similar interest visit http://spiritualorkney.blogspot.co.uk/

What can be worse than finding out that your friends betrayed you? You can lose them all by getting stuck in a world full of aliens who all hate you because you unleashed destruction onto their home.

Pepper Scott was a valued member of the order and a fierce supporter of the Message Board. As we spring forward, we dust off the cobwebs and find all sorts of precious items long forgotten. This is one sort of precious item sitting in the dust of the archives of the Eisteddfod Competition archives. It is a 9x9x9 poem (9 syllables, 9 lines per verse, 9 verses) for which she was famous. We offer this in memory of Pepper Scott and hope you enjoy it.

I hunted for deer on the wind-swept plains
and helped my people to erect the stones
I was with the Druids when they went up the Tor
To attain initiation under the stars
I was a Templar riding into battle
Piebald standard high on my lance

Many summers have passed, many winters went away
good years and bad years, birth and death
the road is steep and the pilgrim is tired
the quest is old and the Grail still veiled
and empty windows of castles long gone
stare upon a liveless wasteland

We are pleased to present a fantastic adventure novel for all ages.

Walter William Melnyk, known to many in OBOD as OakWyse, has been an OBOD Druid since 2002. He has recently published a third book in his Tales of Avalon Series. Unlike the first two, The Apple and the Thorn and Tales of Avalon, this one is not a novel. Rather, The Wisdom of Avalon is a republication of the Thirteen Marsh Tales (from Tales of Avalon) in a separate volume, together with reflection questions for each Tale and suggestions for using the Tales in Daily Meditations.

This is an abridged version of a seminar offered on the message board in April 2010 that is a relevant today as it was then. We hope that you enjoy it.
