I was a doctor before I became a Pagan. Or maybe I should say before I KNEW I was a Pagan. In fact I grew up with a Christian upbringing. A beloved family member of mine, also a doctor, asked the question many years ago, “How can one not believe in god knowing how well-organized the human body is?”

I was asked recently to bless a meal. I took a few lines from an Old Irish blessing, and then replaced the rather stern and patriarchal Christan lines at the end with a blessing we use in the order. The result:

I went travelling recently as I love to do and was captivated once again by the wonders of nature. This month’s Druid’s Garden is a little different and was inspired by a combination of two events.
